KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: A complaint has been filed against an unidentified Kuwaiti man for leaving a hyena on the loose in Kabad, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources several people who saw the animal in the area, called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry. A police source said the Kuwaiti owner of the hyena took the animal to his pen and let it loose. The owner has been summoned for interrogation.

Hunt for thief: Police are looking for a burglar who broke into the vehicle of a 27-year-old Kuwaiti and stole KD 28,000 which he had withdrawn from a local bank branch, reports Al-Anba daily. The victim has filed a complaint with the Abu Halifa Police Station. He said the theft occurred when the car was parked on an open ground in front of a well-known commercial mall. When police saw the CCTV camera they saw how the suspect broke into the vehicle in just one minute and escaped with the loot.
Whisky with Indian: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an unidentified Indian for possessing 10 bottles of whisky, reports Al-Shahed daily. The suspect has been handed over to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control. Meanwhile, employees at the customs office at the Abdali border post panicked when a long poisonous reptile suddenly showed up at the office, reports Al- Shahed daily. The snake was killed by the employees.
