KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: Many Irani bakers witnessed a weak turnout due to several reasons, including the national holidays, and the fear that Iranian bakery workers would be infected with the new Corona virus hence there was a reluctance to buy Iranian bread.
A worker in one of the bakeries in the Al-Qasr area in the Jahra governorate, was standing without doing any work in the bakery turned out to be an Afghan national. He confirmed that "the lack of turnout is due to the holidays and many Kuwaitis have traveled abroad, in addition to fear of infection of Coronavirus is due to customers' belief that all workers are of Iranian nationality but this is not true. There are bakers of Afghan and Indian nationality. ” reports Al Rai.
One of the Iranian nationality baker pointed out that "the demand for bread is weak in these days of the year due to the holidays, and the matter has increased the fears for some due to coronavirus which is spreading in Iran rapidly, so you find people afraid of eating Iranian bread."
One of the clients, Mansour Al-Mersal, shared his opinion, who said that "fears of infection is normal in the mind of the people as this virus spreads rapidly, especially from Iran, which has become the point of spread of the epidemic. The solution exists by relying on bread produced by the Kuwait Mills Company."
Another Kuwaiti citizen said that the excess fears may cause bad repercussions, and we must think rationally and take the necessary measures and precautions without exaggeration. ..God is the keeper.
