KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Undersecretary of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Lieutenant-General Hashim Al-Rifai discussed with the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Navy, Lieutenant-General Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi, on Wednesday aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides.

The Kuwait National Guard said in a press statement that the two sides discussed in the meeting ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and joint military cooperation by holding training courses for National Guard members and joint exercises with the Thunderbolt, the Special Forces and the Pakistani Navy.

Al-Rifai expressed his aspiration to enhance military cooperation between the National Guard and the Pakistani Army in light of the distinguished relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, through the exchange of experiences, visits and participation in military and security exercises and courses. He expressed his happiness at the Pakistani delegation’s visit to the country, conveying to them the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Head of the National Guard and Deputy Chief of the National Guard, retired Lieutenant- General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
