KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Kuwait National Guard Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has expressed keenness on supporting Guard’s personnel who practice sports. The Guard said in a statement, on Sunday, that Sheikh Ahmad expressed support for the Guard athletes after honoring the Guard sports teams that won medals in the ministries and public institutions’ tournament. Sheikh Ahmad conveyed to the honorees greetings from His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, the National Guard Chief, urged the sportsmen to seek to remain as much fit as possible, and prayed to His Almighty to bestow upon the country security under leadership of His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The honoring ceremony was held at the National Guard General Command headquarters, (KUNA)
