Berlin, June 24: The Special Olympics World Games in Berlin witnessed an impressive display by Kuwaiti athletes as they added eight medals to their collection on Saturday. Zainab Al-Durai and Bu Rabaa emerged victorious, clinching gold medals in bowling and badminton respectively.

In the weightlifting contest, Taif Al-Enezi showcased remarkable strength, securing three silver medals and one bronze.

Basma Al-Busaili, the talented rider, claimed a silver medal in the equestrian game, while a skilled four-member Kuwaiti team attained a silver medal in the athletics competition. These latest achievements bring Kuwait's overall medal count to 19, consisting of 6 gold, 10 silver, and 3 bronze medals since the start of the event. (KUNA)
