KUWAIT, May 6: Kuwait won three gold medals in the first day of the International Figure Skating Championship (Emirates Skate), which is held in Dubai, UAE, and lasts for three days. The skaters Jori Al-Mullah, Mudhawi Al-Hamdan and Jana Al-Shamlan won the medals for the Kuwaiti team.
In a statement to KUNA, Vice President of the Kuwaiti Winter Games Club Khaled Al-Mutairi said that this achievement came because of the distinguished preparation provided by the club to the Kuwaiti skaters for this tournament. Kuwait winter games club includes five sports, figure skating, ice hockey, curling, ice-skating and speed skating.(KUNA)
