KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The Ministry of Interior has declared the Al-Erada Square a ‘no go’ area after twelfth-grade students called for a gathering while another group called for a press conference under the title ‘Stop Corruption’, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

However, during the course of action three Kuwaitis were arrested and taken to the Salhiya Police Station and released after taking necessary measures. A security source told the Al- Seyassah the Ministry of Interior prevented the sit-in that the students had called for a few days ago, expressing their refusal to answer the exams on paper due to the Corona pandemic, in addition to calls from citizens on social media to hold the first conference under the slogan ‘No Corruption’, at 12:00 noon, pointing out that the ministry closed the Erada Square with police patrols and prevented entry citing health reasons.
