KUWAIT CITY, July 8: MP Faisal Al-Kandari has reiterated recent parliamentary calls to change working hours of government institutions to the evening hours in June, July and August as temperatures usually increase to more than 50 degrees during these months.

He pointed out that such high temperatures have been proven to be harmful to public health and put pressure on water and electricity services. On the other hand, MP Mohammad Al-Huwaila has submitted a proposal to establish a physical therapy hospital. He said the hospital should be equipped with the latest machines and technology, considering the State usually sends Kuwaiti patients with special physical therapy needs abroad for treatment.

Furthermore, MP Riyadh Al- Adsani has unveiled his plan to submit a grilling motion against Information Minister and State Minister for Youth Affairs Mohammed Al-Jabari if the latter does not address the alleged anomalies in full-time sports careers. He disclosed that he spoke to the minister during the National Assembly’s closing session last week, during which he stressed the need to implement new regulations on full-time sports careers as soon as possible, especially since the issue was highlighted in the interpellation motion that he and MP Adel Al-Damkhi submitted against the minister in April.
