KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: An Asian expatriate was arrested in Khaitan area for consuming alcohol and lying on the ground near a school. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a man lying on the ground near a school and shouting, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location.
They checked his details and discovered he is an Asian expatriate. Detecting the smell of alcohol, they arrested him. At the time of arrest, the suspect said “My life is desolate. There is no point in living. I want to die”. He was shifted to the nearest hospital after which he was referred to the police station for necessary legal action.
Meanwhile, a wanted Kuwaiti citizen was arrested in Salmiya area in possession of narcotic pills. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Hawally area when they noticed a man sitting inside a vehicle that was parked beside a road. Securitymen approached him and checked his details to discover he is a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for enforcing a judicial verdict.
Before they placed him in the patrol vehicle, they checked him to find a sachet of narcotic pills in his pocket. He was referred with the narcotic pills to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, an Indian expatriate was arrested in Fahaheel area after he was caught walking in a drunken state.
