KUWAIT CITY, March 16: The Vice President of Civil Aviation, Eng. Saleh Al-Fadaghi issued a circular to all airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport to start implementing the MUNA programme for verifying PCR  certificates at Kuwait International Airport. Currently 8 countries will be linked in the first stage, they are Bahrain, UAE, Turkey, India, Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri lanka and Nepal.


The circular stated to accept passengers coming to Kuwait from above mentioned countries only if they have PCR certificate negative proving that he/she is free from coronavirus, and it should be valid for 72 hours after the swab test is conducted and  he/she exhibit  should not have any symptoms such as sneezing, high fever, coughing etc. The circular will be effective from 25th March.
