KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: Detectives from Criminal Investigations Department are hunting for a “human wolf” that raped and violated the innocence of a disabled Kuwaiti woman after kidnapping her from her workplace, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspect managed to escape after committing his inhuman and evil act. The victim, using every ounce of her remaining strength, went to a police station in Ahmadi area where she lodged a complaint. She explained to securitymen that she was at her workplace when the suspect came into her office and forced her to leave. He then took her to his car and then to an apartment where he raped her. According to a security source, the public prosecutor was informed about the incident and he ordered the registration of a kidnapping case with the intention of committing a crime and rape. The case was referred to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Investigations where officers, through their investigations and descriptions of the suspect provided by the victim, figured out that the suspect is a Kuwaiti citizen. A task force has been formed to find and arrest the suspect. Woman run over, dies: An Indian woman died when she was run over by a roaming taxi while crossing a road in Salmiya area, reports Al-Anba daily. When questioned by securitymen, the taxi driver said the woman suddenly crossed the road in front of his taxi and he was not able to stop the car on time. A case was registered. Meanwhile, a vehicle toppled in Ardiya but no injuries were reported to the driver. Egyptian’s death probed: Ministry of Interior has launched investigations into the circumstances of the death of a 25-year-old Egyptian expatriate on the top of a sand hill in Mina Abdullah, reports Al-Anba daily. Upon examination of the corpse by Forensics team, it was discovered that the death was caused by electric shock. A security source indicated that it is likely the deceased had handled sand loading and unloading machinery. Many held with drugs: Detectives from Hawalli Security Command nabbed an Arab woman in possession of 17 pills of illicit drugs. A security source said the woman had been declared absconded, reports Al- Anba daily. Meanwhile, security operatives attached to Ahmadi Command arrested a young woman in Abu Halifa for driving under the influence of intoxicant and in possession of a piece of cigarette stuffed with hashish. The officers also found two sachets of the illicit substance ‘chemical’ inside her car. Verification of her identification indicated she was wanted for series of cases such as theft, betrayal of trust and KD 2,500 debt. In Farwaniya, security operatives apprehended a European woman in the company of a Kuwaiti man. The duo was in a disoriented state and in possession of 7 pills of illicit drug “Lareka”. In a different scenario, security operatives from Hawalli Command caught a Kuwaiti youth in Bayan with a piece of cigarette stuffed with hashish, 3 pills of illicit drugs and KD 247 cash. The officers sighted the suspect trekking on the road and approached him for precautionary check when they notice he was jittery, and later discovered the contraband on him.
