KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: The Public Prosecution released political activist Dr Obaid Al-Wasmi after investigating him regarding the complaint that Emirati Attorney General Hamad Al-Shamsi filed against him.
Al-Wasmi and his lawyer – Attorney Mashary Al-Nami – appeared before the prosecution recently, during which they looked into the complaint submitted by the Emirati attorney general who claimed that the accused tweeted statements deemed offensive to him. Al-Wasmi denied the accusation.
