KUWAIT CITY, Apr 23: In the fifth round of the Zain Premier League's third division, Al-Qadisiyah defeated Fahaheel 3-2, marking the team's first victory under its national coach, Mohamed Ibrahim. With this win, Al-Qadisiyah maintained its fourth position with 34 points, while Fahaheel remained at its previous balance with 28 points.

In the first half, Fahaheel dominated the game, pressuring Al-Qadisiyah and creating several dangerous opportunities in front of the war goalkeeper. Al-Qadisiyah failed to show its usual form, and its attempts to score were thwarted by Fahaheel's good defensive organization. Fahaheel scored the first goal through Vitor da Silva after a cross by Luis Fernando.

In the second half, Al-Qadisiyah improved its performance and pressed hard. Mamadou's powerful shot was saved brilliantly by goalkeeper Al-Mansour. Substitute Nayef Zuwaid equalized for Al-Qadisiyah by scoring from Eid Al-Rashidi's cross. Al-Qadisiyah continued to pressure, and from an individual effort by Al-Rashidi, defender Julio Cesar scored an own goal. Defender Yasser Hamed scored the third goal for Al-Qadisiyah from a corner ball. In stoppage time, Yaqoub Al-Tarawah scored the second goal for Fahaheel, but it was not enough to prevent Al-Qadisiyah from winning the match.
