KUWAIT CITY, April 16: In the fourth round of the Zain Premier League, Al-Qadisiyah managed to secure a 1-1 draw against the league leader Kuwait club. With this result, Kuwait club still leads the league with 40 points, while Al-Qadisiyah remains in fourth place with 31 points.

The first half was marked by passing errors and few opportunities for scoring. Despite this, Kuwait club managed to take the lead with a goal from Tunisian Taha Yassin Al-Khunisi in the 20th minute. Al-Qadisiyah was awarded a penalty kick, but it was later canceled due to an offside call.

Kuwait club played with a squad of 11 players, including Ali Hussein, Fahd Al-Hajri, Bilal Aifa, and Taha Yassin Al-Khunisi. Although they scored a goal, they failed to display their usual offensive capabilities. On the other hand, Al-Qadisiyah played with Mubarak Al-Harbi, Rashid Al-Dosari, Faisal Al-Shatti, Yasser Hamed, Abdulaziz Nasari, Abdullah Al-Shamali, Sissoko, Mamadou and Mahmoud Al-Mardi, Eid Al-Rashidi, and Ibrahima Tandia. Their slow execution resulted in no organized attacks, and only random shots threatened the opponent's goal.

In the second half, Al-Qadisiyah improved their performance and threatened their opponent's goal. They were able to score the equalizer with a shot from outside the penalty area by Mali's Ibrahima Tandia in the 69th minute. Although Kuwait had the opportunity to take the lead, with a header from Fahd Al-Hajri that passed next to the post, they missed it. Likewise, Nayef Zuwaid missed a great opportunity for Al-Qadisiyah in the 89th minute.

The match was managed by the Greek referee, Anastasios, who made sound decisions, including two red cards issued to Rashid Al-Dosari and Ali Hussein in the 92nd and 95th minutes, respectively.
