KUWAIT, May 6 (KUNA) - Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem said today, Wednesday, that the government continues with the Public Debt Law, "according to what Minister of Finance Barak Al-Shitan told him," explaining that according to the constitutional and constitutional procedures, the law has been transferred to the Financial Affairs Committee. "The parliament gave the government a deadline to withdraw the law before it was transferred to the relevant committee, but the government did not withdraw it, so it was transferred to the committee," Al-Ghanem said in a press statement in the National Assembly.

He added that the Minister Al-Shitan told him today that the government continues in this law and that it is ready to take the comments of the deputies when discussing it with the committee, indicating that the issue is now with the Finance Committee and then it will be with the Council.
