KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The government has expressed its reservation on the proposal for a law submitted by some MPs to determine ‘quota’ for certain expatriate communities in the country which the Human Resources Development Committee of the National Assembly has turned down, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Sources in the committee confirmed that the government had requested during the last meeting to keep the issue of determining numbers and percentages subject to its assessment and decisions.

For his part, the committee’s Rapporteur , Osama Al-Shaheen , confirmed next week the government will discuss seven proposals concerning the demographic imbalances
