RIYADH, March 5 (KUNA) -- Three Saudi citizens had tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total to five individuals, said the Kingdom's Health Ministry Thursday.

In a statement, the ministry said that one of the cases was of a married couple.
The husband recently returned via Kuwait from Iran and did not disclose that he was in the latter country, resulting in his wife contracting the virus, indicated the ministry.
The third case was also of a citizen who recently returned to the Kingdom, entering via Bahrain, stated the ministry.
The statement by the ministry affirmed that all cases were receiving proper treatment, adding that those encountering the infected were under observation.
