KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: Officers from the Public Security Department in the Interior Ministry arrested several individuals involved in various crimes, including those who violated the Residency law, in addition to the issuance of hundreds of traffic citations and impounding of vehicles when they conducted security campaigns in various governorates recently.In Jahra and Farwaniya governorates, 31 persons were arrested for involvement in civil cases, seven who failed to present valid identification documents, three persons who possessed drugs and drug paraphernalia, and two persons who were under the influence of drugs. In Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Ahmadi governorates, three persons were arrested for violating the Residency Law, six were found to be under the influence of drugs, five have no valid identification documents, and an Asian who was under the influence of alcohol.Wanted man held: Hawally securitymen, in compliance with the directive of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs in the Interior Ministry Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarah, arrested a Kuwaiti in Salmiya for involvement in a financial case to the tune of KD500,000. This came after the securitymen were dispatched to different parts of Hawally where they intensified efforts to search for the suspect. It turned out that the suspect is also wanted by the Interpol.
