KUWAIT CITY, March 28: Four Pakistanis, an Egyptian, three Indians and three wanted individuals were arrested during intensive security campaigns that securitymen carried out in many areas within Capital, Ahmadi and Farwaniya governorates. In detail, Capital securitymen led by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah launched a security campaign in Capital Governorate during which they arrested four Pakistanis who are wanted by law for their involvement in financial cases.

Meanwhile, Ahmadi securitymen led by Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safa arrested three Indians for manufacturing liquor inside an apartment in Mahboula area. Security sources explained that the three Indians were arrested after Ahmadi securitymen raided the apartment and confiscated 100 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. The suspects revealed that they were planning to sell each bottle for KD10.

In addition, Farwaniya securitymen arrested an Egyptian expatriate in Khaitan area in possession of 840 narcotic pills. According to security sources, when Farwaniya securitymen received information about an Egyptian expatriate involved in drug peddling, they sent an undercover agent to him for purchasing 10 narcotic pills.

During the transaction, the suspect was caught red-handed in possession of 840 narcotic pills. He was referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
