KUWAIT, May 18 (KUNA) - Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Maryam Al-Aqeel, said Monday that a temporary branch of Sabah Al-Ahmad Co-operative Society will soon be opened in the building of the Citizen Service Center of the Ministry of Interior in Al-Khiran Residential City to serve the people of the region.
She expressed, in a press statement, many thanks to the Ministry of Interior for its constructive cooperation in approving the use of the service center building for this purpose, stressing the endeavor to overcome all obstacles in front of the residents of Al Khiran residential area, given the absence of a cooperative society serving them.
On the other hand, Al-Aqeel praised the National Guard's role in supporting government agencies during the Corona crisis.
She stated that since the beginning of the crisis, the National Guard, led by His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of the National Guard, have provided all capabilities and capabilities before the Cabinet and state institutions to support them in efforts to combat the virus.
She appreciated the honorable and luminous role played by the National Guard men in supporting the Ministry of Health in order to accomplish quarantines and support the work of the medical staff in hospitals and medical centers.
She added the National Guard completed his bright path by receiving the operation of the Nozha Cooperative Society after the outbreak of the epidemic among its employees and clearing and sterilizing it and putting its energies within it to restore services to citizens and residents, hence the most wonderful examples of cooperation and solidarity in times of crisis.
