KUWAIT CITY, June 11: Two Filipino women were arrested from an apartment in Jabriya area for prostitution and drug peddling, reports Al- Anba daily. According to security sources, when General Department for Drug Control received information about two Filipino women involved in prostitution and drug peddling, they held investigations to verify the information and obtained a warrant from the Public Prosecution. They raided the apartment in Jabriya area and arrested the two women for selling drugs. One of them was reported as absconding since five months from a beauty saloon where she used to work.
Meanwhile Security officials from Hawally, Farwaniya, Ahmadi and Capital governorates arrested 23 male and female beggars of different nationalities during intensive campaigns, reports Al-Anba daily. The beggars have been referred to the concerned authorities for deportation
