KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The Ahmadi police acting on a tip-off raided an apartment — which had been turned into a factory for manufacturing booze -- in the suburb of Mahboula and arrested two Nepalis, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the raiding party has seized dozens of barrels of raw material, equipment used in manufacturing alcohol and bottles of booze ready for sale.

Barrels of raw material to make alcohol found in apartment

The daily securitymen initially arrested one of the men in the area carrying a bag containing bottles of booze. During interrogation he admitted to manufacturing alcohol in partnership with a compatriot and led police to his apartment. The contraband and the bootleggers have been referred to the concerned authorities.
