KUWAIT CITY: About 83 percent of expatriates, which is more than 1.2 million expatriates, working in the public and private sectors do not hold university- level educational qualifications, as per recent official statistics.They lamented that this rate is extremely high, explaining that there are many reasons behind it, such as:1. Increased dependence of families on domestic works such that there are 4-6 domestic workers for every ten citizens, which varies depending on the level of the family and the governorate6. Failure of governmental plans to implement Kuwaitization for many jobs.7.
