KUWAIT CITY, Dec 20: A group of American women have begun to track down university students from Kuwait for illegally impregnating their daughters and giving birth to children, reports Al-Rai daily.

These Americans are doing this through a specialized website to help mothers trace the fathers of their babies before prosecuting them. Although the internet site carries the name ‘Saudichildrenleftbehind’, it includes dozens of stories of American mothers who have been impregnated by students from the Gulf, including Kuwaitis, Saudis, Qataris and Emiratis who were studying in the United States. After the babies were born these students are said to have disappeared by abandoning their ‘wives’ and their children.

The site http://Saudichildrenleftbehind.com’ aims at highlighting the plight of those mothers and help them trace the fathers of their illegal children. Media quoting one of the administrators of the website said a large number of single American mothers who have had children from their university student husbands from some GCC states have published their stories on the website after failing to contact the father.
