KUWAIT CITY, April 2: The Court of Cassation, headed by Judge Ahmad Al-Ajeel, set April 3 as the date for announcing its verdict in the case of a woman accused of killing her husband in their apartment in Al- Masayel in early April last year.
The Court of Appeals sentenced the accused to death, after overturning the verdict of the First Instance Court, which sentenced the woman to life imprisonment. Earlier, the Public Prosecution demanded that the most severe punishment – death penalty – should be imposed on the woman as she planned to kill her husband; hence, she does not deserve clemency By Jaber Al-Hamoud Al-Seyassah Staff
