KUWAIT CITY, June 11:  A Dutch woman of Iraqi origin was kidnapped by some individuals, detained in an apartment, forced to consume alcohol and robbed of her money during her first visit to Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a call from the victim to report that she is lost and has no idea where she is, securitymen tracked the call through GPS and identified her location in Hawally in front of a popular market.

After securitymen rushed to the location, she told them that some individuals kidnapped her, detained her in an apartment where they forced her to drink alcohol and robbed her of her money before they dropped her to the location. Securitymen have launched investigations based on the allegations of the woman.

Girl foils kidnap attempt: An unknown individual tried to kidnap an Arab girl in Mahboula area, reports Al-Anba daily. She lodged a complaint at the nearest police station, explaining that she was shopping in Mahboula when a man started flirting with her and luring her to go with him to his luxurious apartment. When she refused his attempts, he attempted to pull her into his black SUV but fled when she started screaming for help. Ahmadi securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect using the information provided by the girl.
