KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Police have arrested four young men for blocking traffic and harassing young women at a petrol station in Qadsiya, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, some of the youths escaped when police arrived at the scene, some were dispersed while the four refused to leave, incited other youths to join them and reportedly clashed with the police causing injury to two of them. A backup force was called; the arrested youths were taken to the Daiya Police Station and the two policemen to hospital. Security sources said, police even fired in the air to warn and disperse the youths, but to no avail.Drugs with Iranians: A patrol affiliated to Farwaniya Security Command apprehended two Iranian nationals in possession of illicit drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. The officers were on a round of Abdullah Mubarak Area when they spotted two individuals loitering on the sidewalk and approached them for checking. It was then the officers noticed the duo was in a disoriented state. The first suspect threw a paper containing a white substance believed to be illicit drug. They also found on the second suspect a piece of cigarette stuffed with illicit drug while conducting precautionary search on them. They were referred to the concerned authority. Meanwhile, driver of a US-made vehicle aroused the suspicion of securitymen along Salem Al-Mubarak Street in Salmiya area due to erratic manner in which his vehicle was moving, and later discovered the man and his companion (both citizens) were at a complete loss.
